Bernadett Bagyinka was born in the capital city of Hungary,Budapest in 1981. She has been drawing since her childhood days and graduated in 1999 from the Secondary School of Visual Arts in Budapest. In 2004 Bernadett received her first diploma at the University of Szeged „Juhász Gyula”Teachers’Training College Faculty as teacher of drawing and of culture and education organiser. She continued her education at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts, diploma with MA degree at the Visual Education Department. She already has been dedicated from her early college years to research the West-African culture and she devoted herself to these exotic cultures.The human being became the central figure of her portrayal and every culture on her pictures appears in a different symbolical and spiritual color. She has a deep affection for the believes of acient cultures,especially for the tribe-symbols of the Yoruba ethnic group of Southern Nigeria. Her drawings had been inspired from these cultures.Most of her compositions made with pencil and pastel,but she likes to experiment with other different tools what give her the opportunity for traversing between surfaces. Besides the traditional manual drawing she is an expert in digital technic also and she can use it successfully as a virtual presentation of reality. Her conscious creative endeavor is for reproducing the message of her work clearly for everyone who has a recipient mind for the creative forms and esoteric meanings.
